Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on HRAP EDU, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are registering on behalf of a school, you confirm that you have authority to bind that school to these terms.

2. The service

HRAP EDU provides school management software including attendance tracking, academic record management, parent communication, and fee schedule management. The platform is provided as a subscription service billed per student per term.

HRAP EDU does not process, hold, or handle school fee payments. Fee collection is entirely between the school and parents. HRAP EDU only displays fee schedules and records manual payment confirmations entered by school administrators.

3. School responsibilities

As a school administrator using HRAP EDU, you agree to:

• Only enter accurate and up-to-date student information
• Obtain parental consent before linking parents to student records
• Not share your account credentials with unauthorised persons
• Comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) as a Data Controller
• Accept and adhere to the Data Processing Agreement presented during onboarding
• Promptly remove data of students who have left the school

4. Pricing and billing

The current pricing is ₦800 per student per term, inclusive of all platform features. Pricing may be updated with 30 days' written notice. Schools that do not renew at the start of a term will have their data preserved in read-only mode for 60 days before deletion.

The first term is provided free for founding pilot schools as agreed separately in writing.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use HRAP EDU to store data unrelated to school management
• Attempt to access data belonging to another school
• Use the platform to send unsolicited communications to parents
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the platform
• Use automated bots or scripts to access the platform

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance. HRAP EDU is not liable for losses arising from downtime, data loss caused by third-party infrastructure failures, or force majeure events.

The offline capability of HRAP EDU (attendance marking without internet) is provided as a best-effort feature. Data queued offline must be synced within 7 days or may be lost.

7. Intellectual property

All code, design, templates, and content of the HRAP EDU platform are the intellectual property of Cizonet Solutions Limited. School data remains the property of the school. We do not claim ownership of any student records, results, or documents uploaded to the platform.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement by providing 30 days’ written notice. Upon termination, we will provide a data export in a standard format upon request, and delete all school data within 90 days.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms without notice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Cizonet Solutions Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or damage to reputation. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by the school in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

11. Contact
